Three core functions<\/h2>

Our governors meet regularly with school leaders, undertake monitoring visits and ensure that public funding is used wisely. Their role is set by the Department for Education.<\/p> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n

The governing board provides strategic leadership and accountability at Shelton. We are a team of volunteers drawn from the school community, parents, staff and the local authority who work together to support and challenge the school.<\/p> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n
