Absence reporting
We kindly ask that all pupil absences are reported by 9:00am each day by a parent or carer.
Telephone: 01332 701 212 (24-hour answerphone)
Excellent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of how well children do at school. We work hard with our families to make sure every child is in school every day they are well enough to learn.
Why attendance is so important
Children who attend regularly are happier, make stronger friendships and learn more. If your child needs to miss school, please let us know early in the day so we know they are safe.
Punctuality
Please ensure your child arrives in good time to be in class ready for the start of the day.
School gates open at 8:45am. School lessons start at 9:00am.
Late arrivals should sign in at the office.
If we have not heard from parents and a child is not in school, this poses a safeguarding risk. We may carry out a home visit.
