Support for pupils

This guide explains what to do if you feel worried — about bullying, friendships, learning, or anything else.

You are never alone at Shelton. Whatever is on your mind, there is always an adult in school who will listen and help. Asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do.

When should I ask for help?
  • Bullying, including online
  • Racist abuse
  • Friendship issues
  • Struggling in class
  • Personal problems or worries about a friend

Talk to any adult in school — class teachers, teaching assistants, Mrs Dunkley (pastoral), Mr Bacon, or any other member of staff.

You can also talk to friends, parents, Childline (0800 11 11), or NSPCC (0808 800 5000).
