Plan ahead with our official term dates and INSET (training) days for the academic year.

Our term dates follow the Derby City Council pattern. Please remember that we do not authorise holiday during term time, so we ask families to book holidays during the breaks listed below wherever possible.

INSET (school closed) days

Please note that we will be closed for staff training (INSET) days on:

Friday 27th November 2026
Monday 12th April 2027
Monday 7th June 2027
Monday 26th July 2027

Absence from school during term time

Please note that we DO NOT authorise holiday during term time. Leave of absence applications are intended for families where there is an exceptional circumstance that requires a child to be away from school.
