SEND
We are a mainstream primary school with a strong inclusive ethos based on our belief that all pupils are entitled to have healthy bodies, happy minds and to achieve their potential.
This page explains the ways we support all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, so they can realise their full potential. The documents and links may not list every skill, resource or technique we use because our provision is continually developed to meet individual needs.
Quality first teaching, then targeted support
All teaching at Shelton is adapted so every child can succeed. Where additional support is needed, we plan carefully alongside parents, working through a graduated approach of assess, plan, do and review.
